Still on Tau's Path, but... - and adress change

In a month I'll change adress from amis-kauui.blogspot.com to allhailgreatergood.blogspot.com.

I'm in last Highschool's class, and this'll be really deTaued year... There won't be many updates, but check every month, I should make out something. I'll post more on ATT than here, hovewer I'll provide links. For now, I posted up two big Project Logs 'bout XV88 Th'under and Barracuda, XV88 being finished, Barracuda awaiting panel lines' washes and sealing. There's also some fluff for incoming Shas'El Ki'lara.

Barracuda WIP part 5 - painting camouflage...

Just quick photo update (click to enlarge): I painted Barracuda's bottom in mix of Ice Blue and Skull White. I hope to paint black areas at least before Easter. And generally to end painting in next week. Let's see what future will say about those plans...

Barracuda WIP part 4 - painting started!

So here we go! First undercoat of Vomit Brown is on, in close future I'll give it (her?) Ice blue/White undercoat on bottom. Vomit brown is only painted on top half. As you now can guess, I'm going to paint upper part in desert camouflage and bottom in sky camouflage. We'll see how it'll turn out. I'm really curious about the effect. Stay tuned on!

Barracuda WIP part 3 - green stuff...

Here is my precious jewel after putting green stuff in destroyed, magnetized and everywhere needed areas.

Now Barracuda is after priming, but I feel no need to share how it looks now =) .
I primed white, because I like lighter  colour scheme (I tried it on black priming, and it was too dark for me).

Now let's see how I made up. Here you can see all magnetized parts, including landing gear (partially green stuffed) and canopy (click to enlarge, as always ;). I'm pretty proud of gear and canopy. 

Well, here is zoom with more views on last one. Canopy can slide and I'm able to put cockpit empty or with pilot.

There are pics of Barracuda with landing gear pulled out and hidden, in her (its?) most beautiful pose.

Barracuda WIP part 1

I will start with pictures just after opening package:

There are some overmoulded (?) pieces and... two cockpits! Empty and with pilot! Great! and so detailed cockpit meant I'd have to make canopy opening - whoa! it's really smart part...

Now let's see how it looks after magnetizing two cockpits:

Wondering how to make it sliding and not flying after turning Barracuda upside down...

Oh, how to make closing landing gear...?
